Okanagan Ride for Dad biggest ride yet

After a week of solid rain in the Okanagan, it was looking sketchy whether or not the sun would come out for the annual Okanagan Ride for Dad.

It did and the pre-registration number of about 200 turned into close to 500 riders and over 25K raised in the fight against prostate cancer.

Jerry Mercer – retired drummer of April Wine led riders out of the gate and then treated participants to an impromptu drum solo at the finish.

If you took part, there are photos that were taken of almost every rider as they left Kelowna. You can view the gallery from this year by clicking here.
